ISLE OF MAN – Microgaming PlayItForward supports Taylorian Productions’ high-flying family adventure, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, which lands on the Gaiety stage on 6 August 2018.
Based on the 1968 film version of Ian Fleming’s children’s book, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang features a memorable score by the Sherman Brothers that includes the Oscar nominated title song “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” and the unforgettable classic “Hushabye Mountain”. Taylorian Productions’ Chitty will feature 64 company performers, ranging between the ages of seven and 65 years, including local talent Laura Pigott as the delightful Truly Scrumptious, and Tom Dickerson who will star as the eccentric Caractacus Potts.
Led by Chris Cuming as the show’s artistic director and choreographer, with musical direction by Kelvin Towse and Scott Hunter as associate director, Chitty will take flight at the Gaiety Theatre this summer with a brand new set, stunning special effects and the iconic flying car to take audiences on the most phantasmagorical adventure in the history of everything!
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang will be showing at the Gaiety Theatre from Saturday 6 August to 18 August 2018, with evening performances at 7.30PM and matinees at 2.30PM on Saturdays.
