Responsible Gaming

Microgaming believes that responsible gaming, gaming which players trust and respect, is essential to the online gaming industry. Microgaming is second to none in working to achieve the very highest standards in this area and this philosophy creates the foundation for the Microgaming ethos.

eCOGRA

In 2003 Microgaming was a founding member of eCOGRA, the e-Commerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance. Microgaming actively supports eCOGRA's work and as a software provider, Microgaming works with eCOGRA on new initiatives. Following a management buy-out in March 2011, eCOGRA has reinforced its independent status.

eCOGRA undertakes rigorous on-site assessments. Microgaming is very proud to have undergone that process and has been awarded eCOGRA's Certified Software Seal, certifying that Microgaming's products are developed to the highest industry standards.

In addition, Microgaming's commercial operators are eligible to apply for eCOGRA's Safe And Fair Seal, which underlines the operators' commitment to responsible online gaming.

IGC

Microgaming was also a co-founding member of the Interactive Gaming Council (IGC), which has established codes of conduct on every aspect of online gaming, including the veracity of advertising, the speed of payouts, data protection and auditing.

RGA

Microgaming is a member of the Remote Gambling Association (RGA), which was founded in 2005 to serve and protect the industry.

mega

Microgaming is also a member of the Manx eGaming Association (mega).
